The Bishop's Ranch is a self-supporting ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of California. We provide hospitality for retreats, conferences and other gatherings to groups and individuals from the Diocese of California, other churches, as well as spiritual and secular community groups and non-profit organizations.

The mission of The Bishop's Ranch is to share a place of rare beauty through hospitality that nourishes spirit, body and mind.
Our History
The Bishop's Ranch was founded in 1947 when the Ranch House and 63 acres were purchased by the Episcopal Diocese of California to create a retreat center for local clergy. Travel back in time via our timeline to discover the origins of the property and learn about the evolution of The Ranch over the last 75+ years.
